Who: Youth who will be in 6th-8th grade this coming Fall
When: Wednesday, July 27th from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Dinner will be provided)

WHAT is a Sole Party? We will have dinner and fellowship and then party with a purpose! Sole Hope is an organization that provides shoes and work for people in Uganda who are in need. We help by cutting out the top part of shoes from recycled blue jeans. These jean cut outs are then sent by the organization to Uganda where they employ Ugandans to sew together the upper part of the shoe and also employ Ugandan shoe makers who put the sole on the shoes.
I’m not in middle school so...HOW CAN I HELP?
- Donate Jeans. There will be a donation bin located in the Lower Tower Room until our party in July.
-Donate Money. For each pair of shoes they ask for a $10 donation. This money goes to pay the tailor, pay the shoemaker, purchase supplies, and ship the shoes to Uganda. Checks can be made out to SOLE HOPE with WCQBYM66F in the Memo Line.
