The Mission of our Good Roots Ministry is that “No Child Eats or Sleeps on the Floor.” The table of our Lord is central to the Disciples of Christ. In a home it is a place to nourish our bodies, minds, and relationships. Our initiative is about strengthening children and families. In an effort to ensure that no child eats or sleeps on the floor, we collect bed frames and purchase new mattresses and bedding. We will provide small dressers, tables, and chairs when needed.
We will continue to show our “faith with feet.”
