Disciples in Relief of Tragedy (D.I.R.T) was formed shortly after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast.
Our primary mission was to help those in need within the U.S.
D.I.R.T. has completed four trips to Mississippi (hurricane recovery) one trip each to Alabama (tornado recovery), the Eastern Shore of Maryland, (hurricane recovery), West Virginia (flash flood recovery), and North Carolina (hurricane recovery). We also replaced a roof for one of our own after her home was damaged by fire just days after returning from one of our trips to Mississippi. We are hoping to get "Dirty for Jesus" very soon.
